NegativeEvidence

A term denoting a situation in which no Evidence is produced for a Theory or Proposition. May also be referred to as "an absence of evidence". It is important to note that such NegativeEvidence can offer equal or greater explanatory power as evidence.

Musings If nature does not visibly respond to our destruction of its flora or fauna, is this evidence that we should continue?
