GyudonAddict: InternetRelayChat is so dog simple it barely needs any introduction even if you've never used it. Something more featureful but difficult to get into like XMPP or Matrix would be better. SlackWare is easier to install and maintain, has the best hardware support, and is a better introduction to UnixSystems in general than DevuanLinux, or any other LiGnux.
