A simple GikoFood recipe for delicious, relatively healthy homemade candy with minimal effort.

  1. Grab some fruits and berries (apples, pears, mangos, grapes, etc)
  2. Chop em and blend em good, use water or wine or juice to help them blend better
  3. Cook the fruit sauce on stovetop on a low heat, stirring often, until most of the water is gone and you have a very thick paste
  4. Optionally add some lemon juice, sugar, 0cal sweetener, or honey for improved results
  5. Put some wax paper in a baking tray
  6. Smear the fruit paste over the parchment paper in an even layer
  7. Drop the pan on a table or floor a few times to help the paste really even out
  8. In the oven as low as it can go, door cracked, until very dry (5-10 hours)
  9. Peel from paper, cut up, put in a jar, throw in the fridge
